You can customize your account to automatically send your team Birthday and Work Anniversary points. Users will receive a notification through email and in-app that they have been awarded a Birthday or Anniversary gift.
If you need to confirm whether a user has received points for their Birthday or Anniversary, we recommend using the User Summary report found in Reports > Dashboard. Simply filter the Dashboard to the particular user and the month of their birthday or anniversary, download the report and reference the column titled "Received Birthday/Anniversary Points".
To set up Birthday and Anniversary Gifts, navigate to Admin ⚙️ > Account > Customize > Automatic Birthday & Anniversary Gifts.
Here, you can activate Birthday Gifts, Employment Anniversary Gifts or both, and assign them a Point Value. For Employment Anniversaries you can add point categories that increase as years of service increase.
Once you've activated your Automatic Birthday and Anniversary Gifts you can customize the email that is sent along with it in the Customize Birthday Email and Customize Anniversary Email menus below. The special characters are where the recipient's first and last name and points being sent are put into the email. If this is information you want to be included in the emails be sure you do not edit them out of the template.
Once you are happy with the content in your email you can click on Preview Email to see what it will look like when it is sent to your users. The customizable sections will display with a yellow background. Now that you've customized your email and set up your Automatic Birthday & Anniversary Gifts, click on the Save button.
If you'd like to use Birthday and/or Anniversary Gifts without points, simply input 0 for all birthday and anniversary point gifts and adjust the emails to ensure they don't have any placeholders for Points Amount. This way users will still receive an automated Birthday or Anniversary wish from your organization.
