Kudos uses an HTTPS configuration, but some of our external widgets do not. You may experience errors displaying these widgets — Quote of the Day, Dilbert and some custom widgets — in certain browsers. Below is a list of troubleshooting tips to help you to correct the problem.
Solution 1 - IE Users
To disable this security warning forever, in IE go to Tools > Internet Options and select the Security tab. Make sure the Internet zone is selected and then click the Custom Level button. Scroll-down the list of options and set the Display mixed content setting from Prompt to Enable.
This video describes the issue and how it can be addressed.
Solution 2
Setting the Dilbert, QOTD and/or Custom HTML widget to Inactive will resolve the problem. If you're not sure how to do that, click here.
Solution 3
Upgrade your browser to the newest version. This may not be an option for all users, but making sure your browser is up to date may eliminate these errors.
We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please post a comment below and one of our Kudos team members will be happy to assist you.
