Step 1: Accessing MS Teams from Web
Log into your O365 account and click on the MS Teams icon to access your teams. *If you already have the MS Teams app installed, go directly to Step 2.

Step 2: How to Set up a Team where you want the Kudos app installed
Click ‘Teams’ on the left menu, then scroll to the bottom and click on ‘Join or create a team.’
Then, click ‘Create Team’ on the Create a Team button.
When the options window appears, click on Build a team from scratch.
To add all members within your organization, select the Org-wide option. (If you don't see this option, it's because you need to be an administrator to change this setting.)
If you prefer to add members manually select either a private or public team.
You will name your Team, then click Create.
*Important: By default, you will give a General Channel for the wall posts.
Step 3: Select Kudos from App menu
Click on the Apps icon on the bottom left menu and search for Kudos and click.
Step 4: Add to team
Click on the drop-down and select add to a team.
*Important: The app must be installed within a team.
Step 5: Select a Team or channel to add the Kudos app to, this should be the same team created in step 2 (above).
The Kudos app can be installed once per organization.
The Kudos Feed will display within this channel.
Kudos can be received by members of this team.
Once you have selected your Team, click the ‘Setup’ button in the bottom right-hand corner.
Step 5: Setting up the connector
Once the app has been configured to a channel or Team, you can now set up your Connector.
Select the team created in Step 2, hover over the channel (General channel) to see the ellipses (...) “More options” icon and select Connectors.
Click on the ‘Set up Connector’ option - the following dialogue box will appear and you will want to search for Kudos then select Configure.
Step 6: Authorize and accept the Kudos and MS Team integration
- If prompted, enter your Microsoft Azure credentials
- Consent on behalf of your organization
- Click Accept
Step 7: You've successfully connected!
*Important: Make sure to click the Save button.
Step 8: Check if the Connector is configured
After you are configured you will be taken back to the connectors page, check here to ensure your Kudos connector is properly set up.
On the left-hand side, click ‘Configured’ under the Manage tab, if the Connector was successfully configured, you will see Kudos app.
If you don’t see the Kudos app, return to Step 7 and try again.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully integrated the Kudos app into your MS Teams!
