Through the Filters pane, you can modify the filters to better analyze the data on your Dashboard. This is useful for focusing on data displayed in dashboards that have been shared by other teammates. Each time you interact with a filter, the change is immediately reflected on the Dashboard. After you have configured the relevant filters, you can save them as your default filters view.
The Filters pane is shown on the right-hand side of your Dashboard. To modify the selected filters, you can click the pencil icon next to the filter name, or you can click the filter name. Both methods are shown below. You can easily toggle filters on and off using the toggle switch. Use this option to temporarily disable a filter, rather than deleting it. Clearing all the values of a filter is equivalent to turning the filter off.
Saving Your Default Filter View
Setting up your Default Filters View makes it easier for you to quickly review your Dashboards. You can save your default filters view at any time; your default view will include the existing filters, their configuration, and the order in which they appear in the filters panel.
To save your current set of filters, click the ellipsis menu in the Filter panel, and then click Set as My Default Filters.
To return to your Default Filters view, simply click the restore icon.
