Effortlessly Manage User Data: Simplify user management on the Kudos® platform by automating the upload of user data through scheduled FTPS (File Transfer Protocol Secure) transfers. This solution is ideal for companies whose HR systems do not integrate directly with Kudos® or have specific data handling needs.
Getting Started: To set up your FTPS transfer, please get in touch with your Kudos® Account Manager or our support@kudos.com to secure your FTPS credentials. If you prefer using your own FTP (File Transfer Protocol) or SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) server, we welcome you to contact us to arrange a discussion between our Support Team and your IT (Information Technology) department.
**Please note that PGP encryption is also supported.
What We Need from You:
- For Kudos® FTPS Usage: The name and email address of the individual tasked with uploading files are required.
- For Your Own FTP/SFTP: Provide the server's hostname, path, and login details with read/write permissions for Kudos® access.
Select Your Update Frequency: You have the flexibility to choose how often your data is updated: daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
Data Format Requirements:
Your CSV (Comma-Separated Values) files must follow one of these date formats to ensure error-free processing:
- YYYY-MM-DD
- MM-DD-YYYY
- DD-MM-YYYY
- YYYY/MM/DD
- MM/DD/YYYY
- DD/MM/YYYY
- YYYYMMDD
- MMDDYYYY
- DDMMYYYY
Preparing Your CSV File:
1. Create Your CSV: Generate your CSV file from your HR system or another data source.
2. Access CSV Specifications: You can find the CSV file specifications under the user admin page within Kudos®. Once you are on the user admin page, you can click Download under Step 2 to download a blank CSV template. Ensure to follow this format closely to avoid upload issues.
3. Verify Date Formats: Double-check that 'Start Date' and 'Birthday' fields in your CSV adhere to one of the specified date formats.
After Setup: Kudos® will automatically fetch and process your files according to the chosen schedule. A summarized report detailing the upload's outcome, including information on new users and updates, will be sent to your Kudos Default Super Administrator.
