Awards are recognition messages meant for big achievements! š If a team member has recently completed an important project, gained a new certification, or done something truly extraordinary, giving them a KudosĀ® Award is a great way to recognize their accomplishment.
To send a KudosĀ® Award, select Award on your Give Bar, shown below. If you don't see the Award button on your Give Form, you will need to contact your Administrator to request access to Give KudosĀ® Awards.
By default, Super Admins and Admins are able to send Awards. Limited Admin Privileges can be assigned to Users to allow them to send Awards and badges.
Once you have the correct privileges, click Award to open the Give Form. When you send an Award, you can edit the amount of points being sent and add a Badge. When you add a Badge to a KudosĀ® Award, the recipient can click on the Badge to view it as a Certificate. The Badge will be displayed on their Me page under the My Awards widget for them to showcase and refer back to:
To change both the number of points you give in an Award and select a Badge, click the edit icon beside the Badge name and Points information.
Next, you can enter the number of points you want to send by either typing in a number, or by clicking the up and down arrow. Awards can also be given with 0 points. Some Badges have a set amount of points - this is determined by your Admin Team - and you will not be able to edit the points for those Badges. If this is the case, you'll see a lock icon beside the points amount.
Click the Badge you want to attach or click No Badge if you don't want to send a badge with your Award message. When you're finished, click Save.
Now you can enter the recipient(s) in the "To" field and add a message. You can send Awards to a User, a Location, or a Department. Before sending, you must also select at least one Quality.
We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please reach out to us at support@kudos.com and one of our friendly team members will be happy to assist you.
