As tax laws vary across countries and the territories within them, it is important to know that KudosRewards® and/or Custom Rewards may be taxable in your jurisdiction. Please review your governing tax laws to understand cash and near-cash taxable benefits in your area.
To see how many points (KudosRewards® or Custom Rewards) have been redeemed by your team by using the Redemptions Dashboard. This will show the points redeemed and their dollar value, so you can calculate the taxable benefits accordingly. Based on this information, you can calculate the dollar value per employee, which can be submitted to payroll for tax deductions.
To add a taxable benefits disclaimer for your team, go to Admin ⚙️ > Account Settings > Rewards > Taxable Benefits Disclaimer.
The disclaimer will display at the bottom part of the KudosRewards® and Custom Rewards catalogue:
