Overview
The Culture Insights Dashboard is designed to provide admins with a holistic view of their organizational culture. Using five key indicators - recognition reach, recognition participation, churn rate, morale, and loyalty (eNPS) - this tool enables admins to assess the state of their employee engagement and overall culture. By averaging these indicator scores into a Culture Index that can be monitored monthly, admins and their organizational leadership can swiftly make informed decisions to improve culture and enhance employee experience.
The Culture Insights Dashboard is available to any Kudos® user with Admin or Super Admin permissions. To view the Culture Insights Dashboard, navigate to Admin ⚙️ ️> Admin Dashboards > Culture Insights
This dashboard will automatically update on the 1st day of every month, presenting you with results based the last completed month. Each score is combined with a month-over-month trend for more clarity, as well as additional context into the distribution of the data resulting in the overall score. You can filter the data shown by selecting any of the filters in the left border of the dashboard as shown below:
Key Features
Index: The index score is a means to an end: it is best used to highlight trend variations and determine what factors might be influencing those trends. How the different indicators correlate to one another is a good place to start.
Multiple Culture Indicators: The Culture Insights Dashboard uses data from recognition, eCards, sentiment surveys, and loyalty metrics to get a holistic view of employee engagement in your organization.
Actionable Insights: The Culture Insights Dashboard helps you focus your efforts where it matters most: improve employee morale, recognition frequency and reach, and/or turnover.
Trend Analysis: Easily track cultural shifts with intuitive graphs and trend lines, helping you stay ahead of potential issues and understand what programs and initiations are moving the needle, and how your organization’s culture was affected by major corporate changes.
Quality of Data: Your Culture Index will automatically cover Reach, Participation and Churn. Morale is calculated via the employee sentiment survey which runs automatically if enabled, and eNPS is available through the Pulse Surveys feature, included in your Kudos subscription and simple to run.

Benefiting from all 5 indicators: Ensuring there is data available for all 5 indicators increases the relevance of the dashboard and its insights.

Regularly Monitor Culture Index: Ensure your HR teams are reviewing the Culture Index monthly to stay ahead of any potential cultural shifts.

Actionable Insights: Use the insights generated to implement specific, measurable initiatives around employee recognition, morale improvement, and retention strategies.

Employee Engagement with Kudos: Depending on the makeup of your workforce and approach to recognition (top down, peer to peer, points or not), encourage participation in recognition, or practices that reach as many people in the organization as possible to achieve a Culture Index reflective of your true culture and employee experience. Higher participation and reach often correlate with better morale and loyalty scores.

Trend Monitoring: Pay attention to the indicator trends. Even if scores seem stable, downward trends in morale or recognition participation should be addressed before they become critical issues.
Activity Participation
To review the Culture Insights - Activity Participation Dashboard, navigate to Admin > Admin Dashboards > Culture Insights > Activity Participation.
Widgets included on the Activity Participation Dashboard:
Date Range: This widget allows you to select the time period for the data displayed in the dashboard. You can choose from predefined options like "This Month," "This Year," "Last Month," "Last Quarter," and "Last Year," or set a custom date range.
User Status: This widget enables you to filter data based on user status, with options for "Active" or "Archived." By removing the filter, the reports will show data for both active and archived users.
Recognition Sent: This widget displays the total number of recognition messages sent within the selected date range.
General Messages: This widget shows the total number of general messages sent within the selected date range. General messages are sent without points.
K+'s: This widget indicates the total number of K+ endorsements sent. K+ is an additional endorsement feature that can include points.
Comments: This widget displays the total number of comments made on recognition messages within the selected date range.
Reactions: This widget shows the total number of emoji reactions given to recognition messages within the selected date range.
