The Points and Rewards Dashboards provide a clear view of how your organization is using points, including utilization of allocated points, system-generated points, and messages sent without points. They also includes information on redemptions including organizational totals, individual information, reports for managing taxable benefits, and potential liability from employees with unredeemed points.
This information is available for your entire company and is broken up by department or location to provide both valuable information and comparison. System Points are generated by the Kudos® platform and do not come from a User’s Points to Give allocation. System Points include Birthday or Anniversary gifts.
The dashboards update overnight, every night providing you with updated recognition behaviours daily. However, updating user information can take up to two nights to allow all systems to sync and re-sync relevant information across the platform.

Number of Recognitions Sent by Date
Hovering over a date with your mouse will display the number of recognition messages sent for that specific date. You can change the month by clicking the arrows beside the month name. This data will show you patterns of recognition within your organization, such as starting the month with lots of activity and trailing off or possibly sending the recognitions only in the last few days of the month. Ideally, users are sending recognitions as the appreciation and performance moments occur.
Please note that this widget is only available on the Points Overview dashboard.
You can find tables on the Points Overview Dashboard to further breakdown points sent by each user, department, location or group.
The System Points Sent Detail table is helpful if you need to confirm if a user received their Birthday or Anniversary gift.
To review the Points By Month Dashboard, navigate to Admin ⚙️ ️> Admin Dashboards > Points and Rewards > Points By Month.
The Points by Month Dashboard allows you to view any points information for any given month. If your time filter contains more than one month, you will see each month as a column on each table.
You can view tables for Allocated Points, Sent Points, Unused Points, Received Points, Redeemed Points, and Unredeemed Points.
❗️Important Note: A negative number on the Unredeemed Points table indicates that the user redeemed all their points in that month. This table shows all points sent/received/redeemed, broken down by month, so a negative number means that they redeemed more points than they had received in that particular month. For example, if a user had earned 100 points in January, and then earned 50 points in February, and they redeemed all 150 points in February, the unredeemed points report would show that they had -100 points in that month.
The Points Summary by Year Dashboard allows you to view all points information for a specific year. You can use the filters at the top of the dashboard to narrow down your results by user status, year, department, location, group or specific user.
The table will include: Allocated Points, Sent Points, Unused Points, Received Points, Redeemed Points and Unredeemed Points. This can be very useful to plan yearly rewards budgets and point allocations.
