Giving Recognition: Enabling and Disabling Features

You can configure some elements in the Giving Recognition Section by navigating to Admin ⚙️ >Account Settings > Customize > Giving Recognition. 

In this menu, you can enable or disable: 

• Private Messages

• Badges

• Stickers

• GIFs (GIFs are provided through Giphy and are all rated G)

• General Messages

• Attachments

• Restrict Group Messaging
  • Please note that if you check this box, your users will only be able to send one-to-one or one-to-many messages; they will not be able to send any messages to groups, departments, or locations. This setting does not apply to Super Admins & Admins; they will always be able to send group messages. 

What you cannot change in this menu:

• Define how many points a "Thank You", "Good Job", "Impressive" or "Exceptional" are worth.

• Disable any of the above levels of recognition.

• Change the names or wording of any of the above levels of recognition. For example, you cannot change the recognition level of "Exceptional" to "Wow".
